Mini Ladybug Cookies in a Jar

Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation Week are coming up. Are you looking for a cute gift idea? Try mini cookies in a jar. These cookies are lemon-vanilla sugar cookies decorated with royal icing. The jar is a wide mouth quart size mason jar. The cookies last a very long time, can be shipped, and do not require refrigeration. To ship, wrap each jar individually in bubble wrap, and place in a box filled with extra bubble wrap or air packs. (I save all of the extra air packs from my Amazon shipments.)

I made these jars for my mom and mother-in-law. I included mini ladybugs, 2 types of flowers, and leaves.

These are the cutters that I used:

There are unlimited possibilities with these jars. I guarantee they will be a hit!

Note: I will be sharing my favorite royal icing recipe and tips/tricks next week...
